This sprawling backyard in Westfield, NJ, is nothing short of extraordinary. Featuring a luxurious pool, expansive patio, and carefully crafted steps, it offers the perfect setting for entertaining and relaxation. The design brings together the timeless appeal of travertine in a stunning combination of Ivory and Walnut pavers. The seamless integration of the pool, steps, and outdoor kitchen creates a cohesive flow, making this backyard a true masterpiece.
The project utilizes Ivory Vanilla Travertine Pavers for their soft, neutral tones and Walnut Travertine Pavers to add depth and contrast. Around the pool, the checkerboard pattern of Ivory and Walnut pavers creates a striking visual effect. Known for their durability and natural beauty, these travertine stones are slip-resistant and cool underfoot, making them ideal for outdoor spaces.
To bring this design to life, custom radius Ivory copings and steps were expertly cut and bullnosed in New Jersey within three weeks. The attention to detail ensures a seamless look as the coping and pavers blend perfectly. The precision of the cuts enhances the elegance of the design, making every transition flawless and cohesive.
One of the most breathtaking elements of this project is the floating travertine steps that connect the outdoor kitchen to the pool area. These steps, positioned above the water, showcase the natural beauty of travertine while adding a functional yet striking design element. This feature is a testament to the enduring appeal and versatility of travertine stone.
