Working with Technique Contracting, NT Pavers installed 24×24 Rocky Porcelain pavers on an adjustable pedestal system, turning an exposed Brooklyn rooftop into a fully finished outdoor room with sweeping skyline views.
The Rocky porcelain tone was selected to read like natural stone from a distance while standing up to direct sun, rain, and freeze-thaw cycles far better than the real thing. The pedestal system keeps the deck perfectly level, hides plumbing and drainage below, and allows for easy access if repairs are ever needed.
A custom wood pergola anchors the space, complete with a built-in planter wall for privacy and greenery, and a dining area positioned to take in unobstructed views of the Brooklyn skyline. Every material was chosen to hold up to rooftop exposure without sacrificing style.
This project turned an underused rooftop into one of the building’s best amenities — proof that porcelain pavers on pedestals can bring resort-style living to even the most urban settings.
